hope in the hard times

We are now all familiar with dealing with hardship. While the recent challenges that have impacted all of us are unique, people dealing with difficult circumstances is nothing new. One of the key indicators for how well people will process the hardship that they face is how much hope they have. When the future is bleak and all seems hopeless, the likelihood of a person committing destructive decisions and attempting suicide rises dramatically. Hopelessness is nothing new. Facing seemingly insurmountable odds, a group of people who had just started following Jesus was starting to lose hope and question whether they had either made a mistake or made God mad at them because of everything they were experiencing. The Apostle Paul wrote them two letters and in them, we find the reason we can have hope and how we should live when we face hard times. Join us as we investigate 1 and 2 Thessalonians and rediscover our hope.
