The birth of Jesus was miraculous, messy, glorious, and difficult. As we gather for Christmas and dream of snow covered buildings, love blossoming by warm fires, gifts neatly wrapped and tucked under the tree, and perfect moments with family we are often times met with a different reality. As we remember the Christmas story we subtly diminish the more challenging or troubling aspects and in the process arrive at a distorted view of the birth of our Savior. Join us as we investigate the miraculous nature of Christmas and deepen our understanding of the arrival of Christ.
